    With evolution of various techniques and engine driven instrumentation, the
    emphasis is more on canal debridement and sterilization. Lasers with new delivery systems are designed
    to approach right upto the apex of the canal. The laser beam sterilization has penetration depth upto

    1000 micron which vaporizes the bacteria and debris from canal &. lateral canals; increasing the efficiacy

    in prognosis of RCT. It can also be used as an alternative to periapical surgeries or non-invasive

    approach for periapical granulomas & Cysts.

    Lasers in Periodontics : Laser assisted pocket Thermolysis is new approach towards non invasive

    eradicaiton of periodontal pockets. It has a great degree of patient compliance. There is marked reduction
    in post operative sensitivity and inflammation. It has to its advantage a painless and precise surgery for
    Crown lengthening &.epithelial regeneration.

    Lasers Aesthetics : Lasers can be used for composite curing & enhancing the longitivity of esthetic

    fillings. Bleaching is instant and results are much appreciable than conventional means Hard tissue
    lasers used for cavity cutting, conserve tooth structure & form a sound base for esthetic fillings

    Lasers in Oral Surgery : Less inflammation means less discomfort; Sterile Surgery means fewer
    antibiotics. These are a few advantages to name. The roles of lasers in Surgery is infinite. Be
    it fibromas, white lesions, mucoceles or frenctomies, the surgeries are fast, predictable and painless
